Pearson PLC13 October 2005 Pearson Plc Application has been made to The UK Listing Authority and the London StockExchange for block listings totalling 300,000 ordinary shares of 25p each totrade on the London Stock Exchange and to be admitted to the Official List uponissuance. The shares shall rank pari passu with the existing issued shares ofthe Company. The block listings consist of 150,000 shares to be issued under the Long TermIncentive Plan, 100,000 shares to be issued under the Employee Stock PurchasePlan and 50,000 shares to be issued under the Worldwide Save for Shares Plan.
