Cookson Group PLC12 October 2007 Cookson Group plc- Listing of Shares Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for the admission to theOfficial List of 18,583,519 new Ordinary Shares of 10p each in Cookson Group plcand also to the London Stock Exchange for such shares to be admitted to trading. Such new shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares ofCookson Group plc except that the interim dividend of 4.25p per Ordinary Sharepayable on 15 October 2007 to Ordinary Shareholders on the Company's shareregister as at 28 September 2007 will not be paid on such new shares.
