Application for Share Listing : Scrip Dividend

Kier Group plc (the "Company") announces that application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for the admission to listing on the Official List and to London Stock Exchange plc (the "London Stock Exchange") for the admission to trading on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities of 236,586 ordinary shares of 1p, pursuant to the Scrip Dividend Alternative. These shares will rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary shares of the Company and will commence trading at 8:00am on 6 May 2011.
