Stagecoach Group PLC24 March 2005 Stagecoach Group plc ("the Company") has today, 24 March 2005, made applicationto the UK Listing Authority for the listing of 5,064,421 new ordinary shares of12/19th pence each. The new shares are being allotted to the Stagecoach GroupQualifying Employee Share Trust ("the QUEST") to satisfy the Company's 2002S.A.Y.E maturity on 1 April 2005. Following allotment of the above shares, the QUEST, will hold 9,806,359 ordinaryshares of 12/19th pence each, representing 0.92% of the total Ordinary Shares inissue. Two Executive Directors of the Company, Martin Griffiths and GrahamEccles are potential beneficiaries of the QUEST.
