Restaurant Group PLC24 February 2006 The Restaurant Group plc Block Listing The Restaurant Group plc ("TRG") announces that application has been made to theLondon Stock Exchange and UK Listing Authority for the admission to the OfficialList of a block listing of 531,187 new ordinary shares of 281/8p each. Pursuantto the share consolidation (under which shareholders received eight new ordinaryshares of 281/8p each for every nine ordinary shares of 25 pence) of TRGbecoming effective, it is expected that these shares will be admitted to theOfficial List on 27 February 2006. These shares, which will rank pari passu with the new ordinary shares of 281/8peach, will be allotted from time to time in accordance with the exercise ofoptions under the Executive Share Option Scheme.
