Additional Listing on Exercise of Share Options

Source BioScience plc (LSE: SBS) announces that it has issued 36,286 new ordinary shares of 2 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), following the net exercise of share options by an employee under the Company's 2001 Approved Share Option scheme.

Application has been made for the New Ordinary Shares to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange. Admission of the new Ordinary Shares will occur as soon as reasonably practical.

Following the issue and allotment, the Company's issued share capital will comprise 349,136,541 Ordinary Shares of 2 pence each. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or change to their interest in, Source BioScience plc under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules. The new Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares.
