Speedy Hire Plc ("Speedy Hire" of the "Company")

Speedy Hire announces that application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock
Exchange for the admission to the Official List and admission to trading of 51,158 ordinary shares of 5p each in the
Company ("Shares").
These Shares, which rank pari passu in all respects with the existing ordinary shares in issue, have been allotted
pursuant to the deferred consideration due under the terms of the acquisition of Waterford Hire Services
Limited, announced by the Company on 30 July 2007.
Admission of these Shares is expected to become effective on 24 June 2008.
