Application for Additional Listing

Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange for a blocklisting of 300,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the capital of SDL PLC to be admitted to the Official List and admitted to trading. These shares will be issued from time to time in connection with SDL's Long Term Incentive Plan and will rank equally with the existing issued ordinary shares of SDL PLC.

This admission is expected to become effective and dealings to commence in these shares on 1 April 2010.
