Cable & Wireless Communications Plc ("the Company") - Final Dividend.

Pursuant to the Company's final dividend for the year ending 31 March 2010, 41,039,703 Ordinary shares of US$0.05 each have been allotted. Accordingly, applications have been made to The UK Listing Authority for these shares to be admitted to The Official List and to The London Stock Exchange for these shares to be admitted to trading. The shares will rank equally with the existing issued shares of the Company.

It is expected that dealings in the new shares will commence on 12 August 2010.
