Tate & Lyle PLC (the "Company") announces that application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange, in aggregate, for 139,134 ordinary shares of 25p each in the capital of the Company ("Shares") to be admitted to the Official List of the United Kingdom Listing Authority and to be traded on the main market of the London Stock Exchange.
The total application comprises a block listing application for 113,920 Shares to be issued pursuant to the Tate & Lyle 2001 Sharesave Scheme and a formal listing application for 25,214 Shares issued pursuant to the Tate & Lyle 2001 Sharesave Scheme.
When issued, these Shares will rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary shares of 25p each.
