Cable & Wireless PLC06 August 2007 Application has been made to The UK Listing Authority and the London StockExchange for block listings totalling 24,000,000 Ordinary shares of 25p each totrade on the London Stock Exchange and to be admitted to the Official List uponissuance. The shares shall rank equally with the existing issued shares of theCompany. The Block listings consist of 20,000,000 shares to be issued under the Cable &Wireless Employee Savings Related Share Option Scheme and 4,000,000 shares to beissued under the Cable & Wireless Global Employee Savings Related Share OptionScheme.
