Pearson PLC09 December 2005 Pearson Plc Application has been made to The UK Listing Authority and the London StockExchange for a block listing totalling 250,000 ordinary shares of 25p each totrade on the London Stock Exchange and to be admitted to the Official List uponissuance. The shares shall rank pari passu with the existing issued shares ofthe Company. The block listing consists of 250,000 shares to be issued under the EmployeeStock Purchase Plan.
