Unite Group PLC24 March 2006 The Unite Group plc ("the Company") ----------------------------------- Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the LondonStock Exchange plc for 331,848 ordinary shares of 25p each ("shares") to beadmitted to the Official List. It is expected admission will be granted on 27 March 2006 and trading willcommence on 28 March 2006. These shares are being issued as a result of the exercise of share options underThe UNITE Group plc Approved Share Option Scheme (12,570 shares), The UNITEGroup plc Unapproved Share Option Scheme (315,766 shares) and Savings RelatedShare Option Scheme (3,512 shares).
