AMEC PLC29 January 2008 AMEC plc -------------------- Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the LondonStock Exchange Plc for a total of 275,000 Ordinary shares of 50p each ("shares")to be admitted to the Official List. It is expected that admission will be granted on 1 February 2008 and thattrading will commence 4 February 2008.
