ADDITIONAL LISTINGS

Meggitt PLC has made applications to the UKLA and London Stock Exchange for a Listing Application of 6,717,828 new ordinary shares pursuant to the scrip dividend alternative, and for a Block Listing of 2,463,462 new ordinary shares pursuant to the Company's various share schemes as detailed below.

Share Dividend Plan Listing Application

Application has been made for the listing of 6,717,828 new ordinary shares of 5 pence each fully paid ("shares") to the UK Listing Authority and for trading of the shares with the London Stock Exchange. Admission of the shares to the Official List is expected to occur on Friday 7 May 2010. This application is being made pursuant to the scrip dividend alternative in lieu of cash for the final dividend in respect of the year ending 31 December 2009. When issued, these shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing ordinary shares of the Company.

A copy of the document dated 26 March 2010 regarding the Share Dividend Plan has already been submitted to the UK Listing Authority and is available for inspection at the UK Listing Authority's Document Viewing Facility, which is situated at:

Share Schemes Block Listing Application

Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for the admission to the Official List of a block listing of 2,463,462 new ordinary shares of 5 pence each in the Company, and to the London Stock Exchange for such block listed shares to be admitted to trading, in each case when issued.

The application is being made in respect of shares to be issued pursuant to:

1996 No 1 Executive Share Option Scheme - 38,248 shares

1996 No 2 Executive Share Option Scheme - 446,317 shares

2005 Executive Share Option Scheme - 244,232 shares

Sharesave Schemes - 1,734,665 shares

When issued, these shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing ordinary shares of the Company.

Admission of the shares to the Official List is expected to occur on Friday 7 May 2010.
