Signet Group PLC09 November 2005 Signet Group plc Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for the block listing of4,000,000 ordinary shares of 0.5 pence each in the Company to the Official Listand to the London Stock Exchange for these shares to be admitted to trading. These shares will rank parri passu with the existing shares in issue and will beallotted in accordance with the exercise of options under the rules of theCompany's US Share Option Plan 2003 (3,600,000 shares) and the Long TermIncentive Plan (400,000 shares).
