Signet Group PLC05 September 2006 Signet Group plc Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for the block listing of1,600,000 ordinary shares of 0.5 pence each in the Company to the Official Listand to the London Stock Exchange for these shares to be admitted to trading. These shares will be issued and allotted in connection with the Signet Group plc2000 LTIP (1,000,000 shares) and the Signet Group plc Sharesave Scheme (600,000shares).
