IP Group PLC15 September 2006 15 September 2006 IP GROUP PLC ISSUE OF NEW SHARES Application has been made for 500,000 ordinary shares of 2p each ("OrdinaryShares") (fully paid ranking pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares) to beadmitted to the Official List and to be traded on London Stock Exchange plc'smarket for listed securities ("Admission"). These Ordinary Shares have beenissued following the exercise of 500,000 unapproved share options over OrdinaryShares in the Company. It is expected that Admission will become effective and that dealings willcommence in the 500,000 Ordinary Shares on 20 September 2006.
