Alternative Networks plc12 January 2007 Alternative Networks plc ("The Company") Blocklisting Application The Company announces that an application has been made to the London StockExchange for a block listing of 1,934,800 ordinary shares of 0.125 pence each(the "Ordinary Shares"). Admission of the Ordinary Shares under theblocklisting is expected to take place on 15 January 2007. The Ordinary Shares will be issued from time to time pursuant to the exercise ofshare options under the Alternative Networks plc 2004 Employee Share OptionScheme.
