Informa plc - Issue of shares to Employee Benefit Trust
Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the London Stock Exchange plc for a total of 31,613 Ordinary shares of 0.10p each in the capital of the Company to be admitted to the Official List. These shares will be issued fully paid and will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing Ordinary shares of the Company. These shares are being issued at par to the Company's employee benefit trust to satisfy awards under the Company's share plans.
It is expected that listing and admission to trading will commence on 17 July 2008.
Following the proposed admission, the total number of Ordinary shares in issue will increase to 424,996,365. There are no shares held in treasury and so the total number of voting rights in the Company will therefore be 424,996,365.
