British Land Co PLC05 July 2006 The British Land Company PLC ("the Company") --------------------------------------- Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the LondonStock Exchange Plc for a total of 350,000 Ordinary shares of 25p each ("shares")to be admitted to the Official List. It is expected that permission will be granted on 7 July 2006 and admission totrading will commence on 10 July 2006. These shares are being reserved under a block listing and will be issuedpursuant to the following scheme : Scheme Shares Long Term Incentive Plan 350,000 When issued these shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary shares.
