Sanctuary Group PLC17 March 2006 The Sanctuary Group plc ("the Company") Additional Listing Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London StockExchange for a total of 5,153,195 ordinary shares of 12.5p each in the Company("Ordinary Shares") to be admitted to the Official List and to trading on theLondon Stock Exchange's main market which is expected to occur on 20 March 2006("Admission"). The Ordinary Shares have previously been issued by the Companyand do not increase the issued share capital figure of 371,098,866 OrdinaryShares as published in the Company's prospectus dated 21 February 2006 (the"Prospectus"). As set out in the prospectus, the Company has proposed a Sub-division andConsolidation of its Ordinary Share Capital, which is expected to take effect on20 March 2006.
