Hiscox PLC05 September 2006 Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the LondonStock Exchange Plc for a total of 5,810,488 Ordinary shares of 5p each("shares") to be admitted to the Official List. It is expected that admission will be granted on 7 September 2006 and thattrading will commence 8 September 2006.
