Pearson PLC05 December 2006 Pearson Plc Application has been made to The UK Listing Authority and the London StockExchange for a block listing totalling 260,000 ordinary shares of 25p each totrade on the London Stock Exchange and to be admitted to the Official List uponissuance. The shares shall rank pari passu with the existing issued shares ofthe Company. The block listing consists of 130,000 shares to be issued under the Long TermIncentive Plan and 130,000 shares to be issued under the 1992 US SeniorExecutive plan.
