Tesco PLC19 April 2007 Tesco PLC A block listing application has been made to the Irish Stock Exchange and to theUK Listing Authority for 50,000,000 ordinary shares of nominal value of £0.05each in the capital of Tesco plc to be admitted to the Official List of the UKListing Authority and to the Official List of the Irish Stock Exchange andapplication has been made to the Irish Stock Exchange and London Stock Exchangefor these shares to be admitted to trading. Share will be allotted from time to time pursuant to the exercise of shareoptions under the Tesco PLC Executive Share Option Scheme. Admission is expected to take place by 23 April 2007.
