AMEC PLC26 September 2006 AMEC plc -------------------- Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the LondonStock Exchange Plc for a total of 550,000 Ordinary shares of 50p each ("shares")to be admitted to the Official List. It is expected that admission will be granted on 28 September 2006 and thattrading will commence 29 September 2006.
