Unite Group PLC16 June 2005 The Unite Group plc ("the Company") ----------------------------------- Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the LondonStock Exchange plc for 11,595 ordinary shares of 25p each ("shares") to beadmitted to the Official List. It is expected admission will be granted on 20 June 2005 and trading willcommence on 21 June 2005. These shares are being issued as a result of the exercise of share options underThe UNITE Group plc Approved Share Option Scheme (4,000 shares) and The UNITEGroup plc Savings Related Share Option Scheme (7,595 shares).
