Whitbread PLC22 December 2006 Whitbread plc Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for the listing of 27ordinary shares of 68 32/51 pence each in the Company to the Official List andto the London Stock Exchange for these shares to be admitted to trading. These shares will be issued to effect the share capital consolidation as part ofthe capital reorganisation described in the circular to shareholders, dated 24November 2006, concerning the proposed return of cash to shareholders via a Cshare scheme.
