HMV Group PLC12 April 2005 HMV Group plc ("the Company") --------------------------------------- Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the LondonStock Exchange Plc for a block listing of 9,000,000 Ordinary shares of 1p each("shares") to be admitted to the Official List. It is expected that admissionwill be granted on 14 April 2005.
