Close Brothers Group plc (the 'Company') announces that application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and to the London Stock Exchange for a block listing of 73,000 ordinary shares of 25p each (the 'Shares') to be admitted to the Official List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange. These shares will rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary shares of the Company.

The Shares will be issued to satisfy future vestings of share awards under the Close Brothers Group plc Long Term Incentive Plan 2004 and the Close Brothers Group plc Long Term Incentive Plan 2009.
