Unite Group PLC05 October 2005 The Unite Group plc ("the Company") ----------------------------------- Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the LondonStock Exchange plc for 763 ordinary shares of 25p each ("shares") to be admittedto the Official List. It is expected admission will be granted on 10 October 2005 and trading willcommence on 11 October 2005. These shares are being issued as a result of the exercise of share options underThe UNITE Group plc Savings Related Share Option Scheme.
