Additional Block Listing Application

ADDITIONAL LISTING A block listing application has been made to the Financial Conduct Authorityand the London Stock Exchange for a total of 1,000,000 ordinary shares of 25pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") to be admitted to the OfficialList of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange. The Block Listing is for future issues pursuant to the John Menzies plc 2008Sharesave Scheme. The Ordinary Shares, if issued, will be issued fully paid andwill rank pari passu in all respects with the existing Ordinary Shares of theCompany. The application relates to Ordinary Shares issuable in the future upon theexercise of options. No Ordinary Shares are being issued under the plan inconnection with this announcement.
