16th November 2005 United Business Media acquires events in US & Japan United Business Media announced today that it has acquired IT security eventand training organiser, Black Hat, for a cash consideration of $10 million, andthe Japan Jewellery Fair, for a cash consideration of $2.7 million.Black Hat (www.blackhat.com) operates IT security conferences in the US, Europeand Asia for IT security professionals.
