Atkins (WS) PLC03 December 2007 EUROPEAN AEROSPACE ACQUISITION POSITIONS ATKINS FOR GROWTH WS Atkins plc (Atkins) announces the acquisition of Nedtech Engineering B.V.(Nedtech), a Dutch aerospace consultancy, from its founder. This acquisition isconditional, with completion expected by the end of December 2007. Nedtech recorded annual turnover of £3.5m in 2006 and had gross assets of £1.9m.Nedtech has particular expertise in civil and military aerospace structures,system and engine design. It will complement Atkins' existing skills inaerospace and defence system engineering. Ivor Catto, Managing Director of Atkins' Design and Engineering Solutionsbusiness said: "This acquisition enhances Atkins' capability to deliverhigh-end engineering and project management services to aerospace customersacross Europe and positions us well for further growth in the sector.
