White Nile Limited16 February 2005 White Nile Ltd ('White Nile' or 'the Company') Acquisition of oil assets and request for suspension White Nile Limited has concluded an agreement with the Government of SouthSudan, through its national oil company Nile Petroleum Company Limited, toacquire a 60 per cent. interest in the 67,500 sq km Block Ba, which containspart of the Muglad basin in South Sudan. Full information on this transaction will be published as soon as possible andpending such publication the directors of White Nile have requested a temporarysuspension of trading on AIM of the Company's shares.
