Norish PLC28 March 2008 Norish plc ("Norish" or the "Company") 28 March 2008 Gillingham Norish is pleased to announce that it has purchased a cold store in Gillingham,Kent at a cost of £3.1m from Scottish Widows. The purchase will be funded by a combination of surplus cash and a 15 year termloan provided by HSBC. The Gillingham cold store has excellent access to the M2, M25 & M20, serving acatchment area which will include the populous of Greater London, the SouthEast and the ports of Tilbury, Thamesport, Sheerness and Dover. The 6,000 pallet capacity site will be able to offer frozen and chilled storageand logistics services together with blast freezing capacity. Situated in 2.5acre site on The Gillingham Business Park, the 44,519 sq. ft. facility will compliment Norish's other cold store sites which are strategically located inthe United Kingdom and will offer additional much needed capacity in the SouthEast.
