Acquisition of New Library

Independent TV distributor and producer DCD Media is pleased to announce that its distribution subsidiary, DCD Rights Ltd, has acquired a library of programmes from the administrators of Electric Sales Limited (in administration) and Electric Sky Productions Limited (in administration) (together the "Electric Sky Library").

The Electric Sky Library comprises approximately 253 hours across 50 titles of Electric Sky owned productions, including the long running Fat Doctor series as well as recent productions Sky High Scrapers and How Cities Work, alongside a significant number of hours in a wide ranging factual catalogue of licensed titles from third party producers.

Consideration for the Electric Sky Library was £325,000 which was financed from the fund provided by major shareholder Timeweave Limited, specifically for the acquisition of distribution rights.

Nicky Davies Williams, DCD Rights CEO, commented "We are thrilled to add this extensive library into the growing DCD Rights' catalogue. It brings a broad spread of attractive programming covering all the main factual genres to our existing drama, factual and music catalogue."

David Craven, DCD Media CEO commented "This shows the continuing commitment of DCD Media and its major shareholder to growing our distribution business and will allow further revenue growth for this division. We hope to make further additions to the catalogue over the coming months."
