Acquisition of MyHealthDirect

8 August 2019 - Experian, the global information services company, is pleased to announce that it has acquired MyHealthDirect, Inc., a US business specialising in digital coordination capabilities for healthcare.

MyHealthDirect, a supplier to Experian since 2017, provides tools to make it easier for people to access and pay for their healthcare. The company's SaaS-based digital care coordination platform helps simplify and automate the appointment, scheduling and payment process for healthcare providers and for patients. It brings greater convenience to patients, enabling them to self-register their own appointments via their smartphone and help them to proactively manage their care.

The acquisition will complement Experian's existing strengths in the financial and administrative segment (revenue cycle management) of US healthcare. It represents another step in our strategy to use the power of data to transform the healthcare sector, offering patients increased control, simplicity and transparency.

MyHealthDirect will form part of our health activities and will be reported within North America Decisioning.
