BioEnergy Africa Limited ('BioEnergy Africa' or 'the Company')
Acquisition of interest in share capital of major shareholder
BioEnergy Africa Limited announces that it has been notified that companies controlled by trusts, the beneficiaries of which include relatives of the Company's directors Phil Edmonds and Andrew Groves, have acquired interests in the share capital of Ashendon Investments Inc which itself has an interest in 136,680,000 ordinary shares in BioEnergy Africa, representing 41.1% of the Company's total issued share capital.
Messrs Edmonds and Groves are not themselves beneficiaries of the trusts and as such their respective notifiable interests in shares in the Company are unaltered.
