RIT Capital Partners plc to acquire GVO Investment Management Limited

RIT Capital Partners plc ("RIT") has entered into an agreement to acquire GVO Investment Management Limited ("GVOIM"), a specialist fund manager, from Hansa Aktiengesellschaft ("Hansa"), subject to regulatory approval. GVOIM currently manages the GVO UK Focus Fund, an Irish listed open-ended investment company, and Strategic Equity Capital plc, a London-listed investment trust. Conditional upon the transaction's regulatory approval, RIT will acquire Hansa's holding in Strategic Equity Capital plc.
