Newcourt Group plc Ticker: NEW.I Acquisition of Facilities Management Business Newcourt Group Plc ('Newcourt'), a leading, Irish based, support services group,today announced that it has acquired Lenmac Mechanical Services Limited('Lenmac'). Lenmac is a leading player in the facilities management and buildingsmaintenance market in the south and mid west of Ireland and counts a number ofprominent national and international companies and institutions amongst itsclients. The Lenmac management team has agreed to remain with the business. JohnLenihan will continue as Managing Director of the Lenmac. Lenmac is Newcourt's third acquisition in 2007. It is consistent with Newcourt'sobjective to broaden and strengthen the support services offering it can make toits extensive customer base. The Board of Newcourt believes that continuedexpansion into the facilities management market is a logical extension of thecurrent service offering that Newcourt provides. Newcourt's support servicesdivision comprises a range of businesses including Federal Security, Acuman,Nifast and Interaction. Newcourt believes there are further significantopportunities to expand its support services businesses, many of which arecomplementary in nature, through acquisition and organic growth.
