Experian Group Limited02 February 2007 2 February 2007 Experian Group Limited Acquisition of Economic Research Services Experian, the global information solutions company, announces that it hasacquired Economic Research Services (ERS), an economic research consultancybased in the UK, from its founder. Started in 1994, ERS provides research and consultancy services to the publicsector, specialising in economic development and regeneration. Its key clientsinclude government departments and agencies, local authorities, voluntary bodiesand regional development agencies. This acquisition complements Experian'sexisting activities in the public sector market. Sales for ERS in the year to 30 September 2006 were £1.4m, with gross assets at30 September of £0.4m. It will become part of Experian's Business Strategiesdivision, within Marketing Solutions.
