Plantation Rug Company is a supplier of rugs to independent retailers throughoutthe UK and turnover for the year ended 31 March 2007 was £1,000,681. Consideration payable in cash on completion is £250,000. A further payment ofapproximately £150,000 will be payable on 7 September 2007, following theagreement of completion accounts. This payment will include a goodwill figureof £37,000. Plantation Rug Company has been relocated and will operate autonomously from ourStockport distribution centre. This acquisition will complement our existingactivities in rugs, principally through Crucial Trading and National Carpets.
