Purchase of The Gaymer Cider Company
Dublin, London, 15th January 2010: C&C Group plc ('C&C' or the 'Group'), a leading manufacturer, marketer and distributor of branded beverages in Ireland and the UK, today announced the completion of the acquisition of the UK cider assets of Constellation Brands, The Gaymer Cider Company (the "Business"). Full details of the transaction were
announced on 30th November 2009. The acquisition remains subject to review by the UK Office of Fair Trading ("OFT"). Pending the outcome of the OFT decision, the Business is being held separate and is not being integrated into C&C.
