Menzies(John) PLC06 October 2006 John Menzies plc announces the acquisition of Perth Cargo Centre. Following a number of recent acquisitions, John Menzies plc, the time-criticallogistics company, is pleased to announce that Menzies Aviation, its aviationsupport services subsidiary, has acquired Perth Cargo Centre Pty Ltd ("PCC"), anAustralian cargo handling operation. PCC provides cargo handling services to Cathay Pacific, Thai Airways andEmirates at Perth International Airport in Australia. It was previouslyprivately owned and its reported gross assets as at 30 June 2006 were £1.3m. Menzies Aviation currently operates at Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane airports.
