Hammerson PLC11 April 2005 Hammerson plc - Acquisition of Fife Central Retail Park, Kirkcaldy Hammerson plc has completed the purchase of the freehold interest in FifeCentral Retail Park, Kirkcaldy, from Stannifer Group Holdings Limited for £74.7million, including costs. The current rental income is approximately £3.4million per annum. Fife Central Retail Park, which opened in 1997, currently comprises 27,700 m(2)(298,500 ft(2)) of retail warehouse accommodation, including Sainsbury's, Next,Homebase, Boots, JJB Sports, Comet and Halfords. The park benefits from a partOpen A1 planning consent. Kirkcaldy is located on the north coast of the Firthof Forth, approximately 30 miles north of Edinburgh.
