AMEC PLC11 April 2006 11 April 2006 AMEC plc French nuclear acquisition AMEC plc, the international project management and services company, announcesthe acquisition of French nuclear engineering company ATM Enterprise (formerlyGAME Nucleaire SAS) for an aggregate price of €20.5m (£14.2m). Peroue Spie Capital SA, a joint venture company owned 51% by Peroue Conseils and49% by AMEC, had acquired GAME Nucleaire SAS and its subsidiaries in April2005. ATME employs 620 people and had a turnover of €41 million (£28 million) in 2005. This strategic acquisition strengthens AMEC SPIE's nuclear services businesswhose clients include EdF and Areva.
