Acquisition completion

Following the announcement on 24 August 2011, Filtrona plc ('Filtrona' or 'the Company') is pleased to confirm completion of the acquisition of the assets and business of Reid Supply Company ('Reid Supply') with effect from 6 September 2011.

Reid Supply, which is based in Michigan, US, is highly complementary to the Company's Protection & Finishing Products division and the transaction demonstrates Filtrona's commitment to identifying quality acquisitions where it can leverage its commercial model and global infrastructure to achieve faster growth.
