Acquisition Completion Update

31 August 2012: Further to the announcement issued by United Drug plc ("UD" or "the Group") on 20 August 2012, the Group confirms the completion of the acquisition of the UK and US clinical services businesses (combined "Bilcare Global Clinical Supplies" or "Bilcare GCS") from Bilcare Limited.

Further to the announcement issued by UD on 26 July 2012, the Group advises that the acquisition of the entire issued share capital of Pharmexx GmbH ("Pharmexx") is now expected to complete over the coming weeks.
