Primary Health Properties PLC announces that a subsidiary has recently taken delivery of its largest new health centre investment, to date. The Port Talbot Resource Centre, in Port Talbot, South Wales, which was acquired for approximately £15.60 million (net assets acquired £15.60 million), is 5,475 sq m (59,000 sq ft) and has been let for occupation by four GP Practices, the Abertawe Bro Morgannwg NHS Trust, Rowland's Pharmacy and Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council.
Primary Health Properties PLC also announces that a subsidiary has entered into purchase and funding agreements for the acquisition of a new medical centre in Sheffield, Yorkshire for approximately £2.90 million (net assets acquired £2.90 million). The building will be let for occupation by a GP Practice and a Pharmacy. The building is expected to be completed at the end of the first quarter 2010.
